Q. 1. What kind of returns can I expect from the business?

It has been our experience that franchisees who follow the right practices have been successful. It also depends on your location and the products that you are able to sell. The margins are very good and you can recover your investments in only 8-9 months.

Q. 2. I own a store which I am using to sell other products. Can I continue to sell these products if I convert the store to a parlour?

The parlours are meant for selling only Amul Ice Creams/Amul products as supplied by GCMMF and can’t be used to sell any other products.

Q. 3. Can the equipments/consumables/ingredients, as required be bought from any local supplier as per your specifications?

No, purchases of all equipments/consumables/equipments have to be from company approved suppliers.

Q. 4. What is the royalty or commission to be paid to GCMMF?

There is no royalty or commission to be paid. Only a refundable brand deposit has to be submitted.

Q. 5. How many employees are needed for running a parlour?

Manpower required for a Amul Scooping Parlour is 2-3.

Q. 6. Will the interior work be done by company or the franchisee?

Interiors will be done by the franchisee, but as per the company standards. Amul Neon sign-board will be provided by the company.
