Mr. Nicolas Forissier, Hon’ble Minister of State for Food Processing, Govt. of France visited Anand on February 28, 2007. The purpose of the visit was to have an overview of the co-operative dairy development in India. The delegation comprised CEOs of leading French companies including Dabon, Elecrem, Novasep and Inra besides the officials from the French embassy.

The delegation visited Amul Dairy, the cradle of the White Revolution and Dairy Co-operative Movement. After visiting Amul, the delegation came to the GCMMF, and held wide ranging discussions with Shri B. M. Vyas, Managing Director and Shri R. S. Sodhi, Chief General Manager.
