GCMMF conducted its 23rd Corporate Hoshin Kanri (Policy Deployment) meeting at Anand from 20th to 23rd February, 2008. Managing Director, Chief General Manager, General Managers, Depot-in-Charges, Zonal Managers, Departmental Heads, Product Officers, Ad Agency, etc. participated in this meeting. There were around 180 participants in this meeting.

The Wholesale Dealers (WDs) of GCMMF from its six locations viz., Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Guwahati also participated in this meeting through Video Conferencing. This is the first time GCMMF conducted this type of Video Conferencing to involve major portion of its WDs. Through Video Conferencing, MD gave his direction to the WDs and they also interacted with him and discussed various plans for the coming year.

At corporate level GCMMF conducts this kind of meeting twice a year - one in February and another in September. The meeting is conducted in LSIP (Large Scale Interactive Process) manner.

During this meeting the group reviewed status of various Hoshins taken in September 07 meeting and discussed various plans for the year 2008-09 and accordingly action plans were drawn.

In the evening on 21st & 22nd, a Cricket tournament was arranged and the participants of this meeting participated in the same with full fun and enjoyment.
