Shri Subodh Kant Sahai, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Food Processing, Govt. of India, on Saturday visited IRMA, Vidya Dairy, Amul Dairy and the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. The visit left him highly impressed.

During his wide ranging discussions with Dr. V. Kurien, Chairman, and Shri B. M. Vyas, Managing Director, GCMMF, the Minister said that Amul was working for the cause of the farmers and such initiatives have to be encouraged. He gave an assurance that he would try to help the cooperative sector.
