GCMMF conducted its 18th Hoshin Kanri (Policy Deployment) meeting at Anand from 8th to 10th September, 2005. Managing Director, General Managers, Depot-in-Charges, Zonal Managers, Departmental Heads and Product Officers, etc. participated in the above meeting. GCMMF at corporate level conducts this kind of meeting twice a year - one in February and another in September. The meeting is conducted in LSIP (Large Scale Interactive Process) manner. In February's meetings, MD gives his broad direction for the coming year and all the participants sit in max-mix group & discuss about what are the strategies/policies/ systems to be adopted to improve the business of Federation and Hoshins are derived for the same. In September, review of the status of the action taken during the last six months is conducted and discuss about what are the corrective measures to be taken for the remaining period to achieve the set Hoshins.
