Her Excellency, Ms. Laura Quiambao - Del Rosario, the Ambassador of the Philippines, accompanied by Ms. Maria H. Bugarin, Minister visited Anand on April 12, 2005. She held wide-ranging discussions with Dr. V. Kurien, Chairman, GCMMF and Shri B. M. Vyas, Managing Director, GCMMF. She was keenly interested in the working of the Amul Model and felt that as an employment-generating tool, it had great potential in her country too.
