A group of 16 working journalists from developing countries visited us on March 22, as part of the study tour organized by the Indian Institute of Mass Communications, New Delhi.

The participants came from Ethiopia, Guyana, Ivory Coast, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Senegal, Slovakia, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Togo Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Zambia and India. Most of them felt that it was a memorable experience and hoped that they have an opportunity to visit again and study the Amul Model in detail. A young journalist remarked that the meeting with Dr. Kurien was one of his treasured moments. They took particularly interest in the working of the village dairy cooperative societies.
